21 Volts – International Meeting of Arts, promoted by CRL – Central Elétrica, reaches its second edition in the city of Porto. From the 2nd to the 5th of September, the public will be able to attend, free of charge, the opening of processes, performances and concerts by artists from 4 countries, in the premises of the former Electric Power Station of Freixo.
CRL – Central Elétrica marks the new beginning of an artistic project with a long path of activity. By merging in a single acronym CiRcoLando and CentRaL, CRL pursues in an articulated way two nuclear axes of action – own creations vs. residences and programming –, believing that the integrated development of both areas generates unique ways of thinking and doing both.
The works that make up the programming of the second edition of VOLTS seek to reflect on the notion of Body-Narrative, a possibility of thinking about the place of immateriality and the tension between the maintenance and disappearance of what we still call narrative.
Enjoy!
