In this gathering, we will talk with Evelyne Mussons from the cultural association Rural Vivo, based in Campo do Gerês. Evelyne will share her experience in developing artistic and educational projects closely connected to the environment and the local community. Together, we will discuss how artistic and pedagogical practices can engage with the territory, nurture relationships with the environment, and inspire more conscious and integrated ways of living.
This conversation is part of NAP – Núcleo de Ação e Pensamento, a space dedicated to reflection, dialogue, and the practice of regenerative art methodologies. Composed of a group of permanent members, guests, and interested participants, it is a fertile space for the collective germination of knowledge, ideas, and practices.
Based on the idea of an archive/environment made up of objects and living plants collected, donated, or discovered through encounters and conversations with the local community, Urganhada proposes to function as a sensory territory of discovery and sharing. It is activated through a participatory performance in which the intertwined materialities and stories behind the appropriated objects are gradually revealed. Urganhada is a project by Angelina Nogueira, developed during a creative residency in São Pedro de Azevedo, Campanhã, Porto.

Inspired by the deck of cards created by music producer Brian Eno, we’ll create a collective drawing. We’ll follow instructions that help us, confuse us, challenge us, surprise us, inspire us, that are nearly impossible, that we don’t understand, or that excite us… We want to see where this will take us!
