The 2nd year of Viral starts in October at crl – centralelétrica! At this point in the project, we have 1st-year participants and are opening up space for new young people, aged 16 to 30, who want to join VIRAL – a project where experiences and experiences are based on a practical reflection of the city through new media tools.
On Wednesday, October 11th, at 5:00 pm, we will start the workshops, with part of that day’s session to provide more information about the project and what the plan is for this new year, then move on to practice with the trainer, Raquel S.!
On Saturday, October 14th, from 10 a.m. to 7:30 pm, we have planned a practical day with Jorge Neto. In the “Teatro num Dia” workshop, we will go through all the phases of creating, developing and promoting a show. It will also be an introduction to the methodology that we will develop throughout the year!
Raquel S., Monção, 1986. Studied Philosophy and Literary, Cultural and Interarts Studies. She works from Porto as a playwright, playwright and director. In 2018, she founded Noitarder, where she premiered Longe, amor.demonio, Ruído and Cadernos de, and is now preparing DESCANSAR. She was one of those selected for the École des Maîtres 2020 – the first edition dedicated to dramaturgy -, where she wrote and presented the play Carne in several countries. She wrote texts for short films, fanzines, academic communications and others. She teaches dramaturgy at ACE and is a local mentor at the Future Lab, at CAMPUS-PSC.
Jorge Neto – He has been working as a Professional Actor since 2000. Through his personal experience and throughout his professional career, he thinks and promotes education and critical thinking, through the artistic processes of theater, for young people and everyone.
