Workshops
Our workshops cycle is an important tool to improve and expand the knowledge and practices of our regular collaborators as well as other interested artists. Through training actions, workshops, laboratories and other activities, we seek to promote the constant renewal and expansion of knowledge, creating new opportunities for artistic encounters and fostering the dialogue between generations, including young performing artists. We believe that, through these instruments, we can significantly contribute to the progress and evolution of art as a whole.
We highlight the workshop of contact-improvisation by Ka Rustler (Germany), dance by Thierry Baë (France), contemporary dance (from the principles of Butô) by Cécile Loyer (France), Butoh with Yumi Fujitani (Japan), organic composition by Péter Gemza (Hungary), dance by Ismaera Takeo Ishii (Japan), Fighting Monkey by Alanna Kraaijeveld (Canada), Marina Kaptijn (Netherlands) from the Jan Fabre Teaching Group and Maikon K (Brazil).
The open call will soon open for Recurso 2024, a project produced by Estrutura, which in this new edition has the co-production of CRL – Central Elétrica, where most of the activities of this program will take place. This project coordinated by Cátia Pinheiro, José Maria Vieira Mendes, José Nunes and Vânia Rodrigues is made up of several laboratories, conversations, residencies and mentoring projects that will take place over three phases during the year 2024.
