The concept of archive acquires multiple meanings depending on its framework. What we have come to realize, when we reflect on the notion that the body is an archive, the archive is a body, in our Power Station, is the recurrent capacity that archives have to offer us ideas and narratives and at the same time generate deep friction regarding the transience of the performing arts. A possibility arises to think about the place of immateriality and tension between the maintenance and disappearance of what we still call narrative.
In order to broaden the debate, Volts appears, an annual meeting promoted by CRL – Central Elétrica that seeks to experience times, spaces, materials, thoughts and events from a set of works of different artistic languages.
