Central Elétrica, Porto
A hybrid event, halfway between installation and performance. Using water and its changing states as the main element, the project paves the way for fiction and the imagination of other forms of life. Through the mixture of bodies, sounds and materials, ever-changing liquid landscapes emerge.
Lucas Damiani works at the intersections between the performing arts and the visual arts. His practice intertwines installation, performance and choreography with strategies of de/recognition and transformation around the themes of encounter, touch and intimacy. For this project he is teaming up with the artists and performers Mariana Catalina Iris, Andrei Bessa, Noumissa Sidibé, and Nicole Gomes.
Hydra is presented within the scope of Porto Design Biennale.
