Estufas [Greenhouses]

With a strong walking component, “Estufas” starts well inside the Barril Quarter and ends in Alta Vila Park.
The spread of poor sleep in these critical times reminded us Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ plague of insomnia and its frightening prognosis: oblivion.
We thus decided to investigate a bit on sleep and dreaming.
In a land with strong traditions in accommodation of travellers, sleep has been always treated with special care. It is therefore not surprising that the oldest core of the city of Águeda emerge as ideal place to welcome our greenhouse-rooms. Research spaces on the recovery of good sleep close to the kingdom of plants. A realm where there is no radical distinction between the sleep and the vigil. There is always a permanent silent and retired state.

During sleep, heart is illuminated.
