Following the line of the previous editions, we move on with the long term work cycle Spirit of the Place and its proposal to rediscover the city.
The unknown, invisible urban spaces that seem to rest in a certain oblivion are those we always seek.

We trace a route in a different territory of the city and we propose a singular vision about that place. In each space, we value its existential dimension, the multiplicity of layers, the plurality of durations. We cross speeches, readings, memories, sensations, and we end up proposing brief fictions. The presentations take place in situ and throughout the process is encouraged the proximity and collaboration with the locals.

In 2018, we seek a different challenge in a territory within doors. Brasília, one of the first commercial centers of the Iberian Peninsula, which “has given color to a country still in black and white”, will be our territory of inquiry. Emblem of the revolution of mentalities, it came to be the victim of its own success, fighting since several years now for denying the destiny of “abandoned future”.
