Walking performance by several stations
We move forward with the long-term work cycle Spirit of the Place, about Oporto’s territories. In each edition we draw a route in a different area of the city and invite a group of artists from different disciplines to bring their own universe and create a singular vision of a place. There, in situ, the presentations occur, mostly in indeterminate and peripheral urban areas. In 2016, our territory of action will focus on Cantareira, between Pilots and the Queen Leonor neighbourhood. Throughout the process we stimulate the collaboration with local people.

During the creation of Espírito do Lugar 2.0, Jonathan Saldanha will be in residence with Foz do Douro Marching Band.
This work will result in the creation of an original musical piece that will be performed live in Cantareira.
