Encounters at the Window

Whitin the scope of  ERRE Projet /CRL – Central Elétrica, we invited all the interested to participate in a walking- rendez vouz to the territory between Freixo Street and Barão de Nova Sintra Street. The subject of this meeting results from the research carried out in the territory, by direct contacts stabilized with the inhabitants. Accompanying was the trio “Fados à Janela” that offered a song to the neighbors who came to the window. By this way, we intended to foster contacts with this old and marginalized area of the city, where people with memories of a living and nostalgic past also live.

15h00: Walking Rendez-vouz – Travessa do Freixo

16h30: Snack-convivial – Lavadouro da Presa Velha

At 16:30 we met at the Lavadouro da Presa Velha for a moment of conviviality and sharing snacks made by the neighbors. Featured the performance of a trio of traditional music with bagpipes, box and bombo.
