We inhabit the historic Freixo Electric Power Station, located in Porto, seeking to reinterpret this deactivated space and transform it into a vibrant and pulsating place with artistic energy. Over the last 15 years, we have been working as promoting agents for different artists, both national and international, with a long and interesting history of the projects received.

Our commitment has been clear over the years, welcoming artistic talent that, in turn, has contributed to enriching the culture and expanding the artistic diversity of the region. Witnesses to numerous projects, our commitment is constant when it comes to providing support and space to artists, as well as new tools and instruments in an attempt to leverage them in their goals and creative visions.

CRL – Central Elétrica is committed to being a place where artists and interested parties can meet, think, collaborate, explore and create, whether through the various residency programs or through its training cycles and activities.
