Brisa ou Tufão [Breeze or Typhoon] is a theatre show about both the strength and lightness of the air surrounding us. A show about the importance of living with that invisible thing that blows. Of cutting new windows and celebrating the air!
Depending on our geographic, emotional and human luck, this air may transform us into breeze or typhoon.
A woman, a “lightness and well-being technician”, travels around, measures the air and ventilates the places. To prevent catastrophes, she help us to live along with this soft and rebel element of life.
What we do when we suffer from tachycardia, when we are downcast, when the everyday hustle and bustle is truly breath-taking?
Brisa ou Tufão is a show that tells us how to resist celebrating life.
This “technician” brings in her kit homemade solutions to make everything simpler.
A show about the beauty of simple things.
This show aroused from the dance-theatre project called “Lembranças” [Memories], premiered in 2005 and directed by the Portuguese choreographer Madalena Victorino, where 16 actors-creators participated. From this “memory” the desire to create “Breeze or Typhoon” was born.
