Inês Oliveira
Ataúde is a dance-theatre solo that focuses on the idea of death.
A symbolic vision of death as rupture, as change in a process of abandonment and conquer of oneself, in which the intimate space dilates, twists, expands – ending things, extinguishing them, making room for other things to take their place.
It reflects about the killing we inflict upon ourselves, over and over again, in an exercise that connects more with life than with death. An endless process of disappearance and revival. The permanent invocation of our vital forces in each new awakening.
