21 October, 05:00 pm | DON’T KISS ME I’M IN TRAINING, VACAburra [RPM Residencies]
21 October, 06:00 pm | WAYQEYCUNA, Tiziano Cruz [InResidence]
In the DON’T KISS ME I’M IN TRAINING residence, the Galician collective seeks to create a direct dialogue with identity, in the quest to construct a suspended period of time where the identity does not have the obligation to end, to define itself and the movements that accompany it do not stop flowing these ephemeral, fleeting, fleeting knowledge. VACAburra is the result of the collision of two artists, a cow and a donkey: Andrea Quintana and Gena Baamonde who unite their concerns and trajectories in a common project that revolves around scenic and choreographic creation.
Wayqeycuna is a project that explores the experience of being a migrant in your own territory, focusing on the collective memory of Jujuy, Argentina, and challenging narratives of whitening and power. In the mix between theatre and scenic performance, Tiziano Cruz reflects on contemporary issues of migration policies and social injustices, with this residency in Porto marking the end of the trilogy “Three ways to sing to a mountain and find a childhood”, six years old: research and writing.
Entrance is free, with no prior reservation required.
