We kick off ATERRIZAR’s fall cycle with Ficções Botânicas, which seeks to rethink the very notion of life and foster a new awareness of the interdependence between humans and the plant world.
At the heart of this cycle will be the artist residency by Elena Córdoba, whose work stems from the observation of water, plants, and the worlds that reveal themselves when we shift our perspective and look through a microscope.
The program is part of the Terra a Terra series, featuring a film screening followed by a discussion moderated by José António Cunha and two workshops led by Costanza Givone with children from the EB1 School in Lagarteiro and the Pensarilhos educational project, based in São Pedro.
