Promoted by CRL – Central Elétrica, VOLTS – International Encounter of Performing Arts returns to CACE Cultural do Porto for its 6th edition! From September 2 to 6, the public will be able to attend a free program featuring artists from various countries.
In this gathering, which highlights urgent proposals that challenge established aesthetic, political, and social norms, we welcome Jéssica Teixeira (BR), Martha Hincapié Charry (CO), Varinia Canto Vila (CL), Francisco Thiago Cavalcanti and Um cavalo disse mamãe (BR/PT), Sarah Baltzinger & Isaiah Wilson (LU/FR), André Braga and Cláudia Figueiredo (PT), Rodrigo Miragaia (PT), José Gregório Rojas (VE/PT), Olivier&Thümler (CL), and Atelier Caldeiras (PT).
Admission is free, with ticket collection starting at 7.00 pm on September 2, and from 6.00 pm on September 3 to 6.
Most of our spaces at CACE are accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, please note that the outdoor pavement is cobbled and includes some ramps with inclines.

VOLTS – International Encounter of Performing Arts is curated by Pedro Vilela and is supported by the InResidence program of Porto City Council, the Iberescena Program – Fondo de Ayudas para las Artes Escénicas Iberoamericanas, the Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg and the Portuguese Republic – Culture, Youth and Sports and DGArtes.
Most of our spaces at CACE are accessible to visitors with limited mobility. However, the exterior pavement is cobbled and includes some ramps with a slope. The venue offers free parking, and food and drinks will be available for purchase on site.
