The segment of the VCI located in the extension of Rua da Bonjóia resembles a stake and defines the division of the center and periphery of the city. On this day, we made a journey across that border to get to know two examples of communities that have been displaced: the Associação Movimento Terra Solta, which recently moved house and is building its infrastructure, and the Old Neighborhood São Vicente de Paulo, which no longer exists, but which has and continues to play a very strong role in the collective memory of this region.

We held the meeting with the Associação Movimento Terra Solta, participated in the open rehearsal of the World Community Orchestra in Campanhã, walked through the Sound Path “Archaeology of the void” of Flora Paim and the “Structural Glimpse” of Hugo Oliveira (RESIDIR program) and we finished at the Centro Cultural de Atletismo de Bonjóia with the presentation of the book “Memórias do meu bairro” by Ângelo Coelho (Lito), the exhibition of “Fátima, José e Vicente” by Betina Juglair (RESIDIR program) and a conviviality with snacks and music.
