The 2nd Coriolis Meeting arises from the desire of a group of cultural organizations from Porto and the North Region, to continue a movement of collaboration and learning, started in 2020.
The Meeting will provide a space for sharing, reflection and joint learning about more conscious and – socially and environmentally – also more responsible practices. An informal one-day journey, consisting of workshops, conversations, round tables and film viewing.

The 2nd Coriolis Meeting is co-organized by a group of non-profit cultural organizations, interested in continuing the reflections and sharing started in the project. They are ACE Teatro do Bolhão, Circolando CRL, Coliseu Porto Ageas, Companhia de Teatro Os Quatro Ventos, Crónica Pitoresca, Instável – Centro Coreográfico, Erva Daninha, Esquiva Companhia de Dança, Fértil, Fogo Lento, Figura Nacional, INAC, Nome Próprio, Projeto Expressar, Sonescola, Teatro da Didascália and Varazim Teatro.
Coriolis – Movimento para a Sustentabilidade was promoted by Instável – Centro Coreográfico in partnership with Rede Inducar and financed through the Cidadãos Ativ@s / EEA Grants program, a fund managed in Portugal by the consortium Fundação Bissaya Barreto and Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Through a training program and encouraging collaboration, Coriolis intended to encourage improvement and strengthen relationships between 30 cultural organizations in the territory.

Proposal for wandering and sharing different regenerative artistic practices as an exercise in collaboration, exchange, mutualism and deceleration on the way to Associação Movimento que Terra Solta – a project based in Campanhã driven by ideals such as solidarity, cooperativism and environmental protection for a fairer society it’s free.

“Águas do Pastaza”: documentary, followed by a conversation with Inês T. Alves and Sérgio Marques

It is along the Pastaza River, which travels from Ecuador to Peru, that we find the Achua community that Inês T. Alves visited without necessarily intending to make a film. But the curiosity and independence of the children she met — fluent in fishing, cooking or crafts — gave rise to this work.

Deseclipse: collective dinner, with Ana Rita Xavier and Aura da Fonseca
Deseclipse is a partnership between Instabel – Centro Coreográfico and Ana Rita Xavier, Aura and Joana Couto and consists of a space for conversation, sharing and demystification of themes related to the state of art and culture, seeking to raise topics, questions and problems. A safe and circular space where everyone can intervene and assist. For the 2nd edition of Coriolis, we prepared a dinner that allows participating people to get to know each other better and exchange ideas, thoughts and reflections around sustainability – ecological, economic, human and social.
