7 & 8 October | Azevedo, Campanhã, Porto
The Common Territory Cycle is dedicated to the contexts and communities neighbouring the Central Elétrica. It seeks new views and relationships on the territories on its periphery, identifying and highlighting the various lifestyles, values, convictions and cultural heritages of the communities that inhabit them.
On the 7th, Saturday, at 10:30 am, we meet with Colectivo Landra, at Travessa da Granja for the Caminhada do Carvalho. In Azevedo, east of Porto, just before we enter Gondomar, there is a very peculiar small oak grove. Let’s walk through these woods and talk about the things you see there and, subsequently, the things you don’t see.
Sunday, October 8th, we meet at Jardim Lumi, next to Rua da Granja 899, at 4 pm with a picnic and conversation that brings together the recipes and stories collected by Rebecca Moradalizadeh in R/Espigar – a meeting project around food, of food, of recipes that remain in our senses or that are formed on the table. From 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, a cleaning action will be carried out on the banks of the Torto River followed by a snack to regain strength. We close the day at 7:30 pm with the Rio Torto film screening by André Braga, Cláudia Figueiredo, Gonçalo Mota and Nuno Preto. A project that is born from the stories, memories, and lives that inhabit this “ribulum campania”, or Campanhã river.
We invite you to come on the 7th and 8th of October!
Access to the event is free, with limited capacity. Reservations are available via email at c.santos@circolando.com.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and footwear.
