This workshop is part of the research process of the performance Exposição de Costanza Givone.
It will be a space for exchange where we will open the creation process and share work tools with the participants. At the same time, we aim to create an opportunity to experiment ideas for the ongoing creation. The creation of boundaries is the starting point to find new ways of physical and vocal expression. In a second step, we will introduce different materials (plaster, plastic, wood, bricks) to make the body a living sculpture and find new ways of moving and being. Thanks to our instinct to adapt our body to a material and the development of a refined body-voice-matter relationship, we will try to build moving figures. It is interesting to work on the relationship between the individual and the group, and at the end build a chorus of bodies and voices, a collective body, a manifestation of a multiple individuality.
We ask participants for authorization to record sounds and voices, which eventually be be included in the soundtrack of the performance Exposição.
Target audience: professionals, students and amateurs of the performing arts.
10 people will be selected by sending a CV and / or motivation letter to the e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
The workshop is free, but we invite participants to support “ESTRUME” CREATION GRANT with a donation to the account of the cultural association “Fogo Lento”. This fundraising will end in February 2021, the amount reached will be attributed through an invitation to a creator or collective of artists for a new creative project.
